Rev. Moose
Managing Partner/Co-Founder
Rev. Moose is a highly accomplished music industry leader with experience in artist development, marketing, advocacy, non-profit management, and international program development. Through Marauder, he helps companies, organizations, and government entities develop strategies and in-person events that drive systemic change and foster growth within the independent music sector. Moose is the founding and emeritus executive director of the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) and National Independent Venue Foundation (NIVF). In 2018, he brought Independent Venue Week, the esteemed series that spotlights locally owned and operated performance spaces, to the U.S. market. Before founding Marauder in 2015, he expanded The Syndicate’s international reach and developed CMJ’s initiatives working with foreign music export bodies. He has earned recognition from the Clio Awards (Clio Music Impact 2021), the Association of Performing Arts Professionals (Outstanding Advocacy on Behalf of the Performing Arts 2021), and A2IM (Humanitarian 2021 & 2022; Independent Champion 2025).
Matthew Field
Partner/Co-Founder
Matthew has a broad understanding of the business and legal issues affecting the creative industry. His background is in fostering a collaborative, entrepreneurial approach to new projects. Matthew has previously worked in private practice advising early-stage companies, investors, and entertainment professionals on legal matters affecting their businesses. In addition to his duties at Marauder, Matthew is licensed to practice law in New York and works with a boutique business, entertainment, and intellectual property law firm.
Cecilie Maria Nielsen
Senior Director of Special Projects
Cecilie Maria Nielsen empowers and leads music communities, building connections among key music industry partners while paving paths toward long-term success. She is a founding producer of the American edition of Independent Venue Week, and has played integral roles in launching the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) and Port Authority Music Export Academy. Cecilie started at Marauder as an intern nearly a decade ago and has since graduated to a leadership role. She holds a masters degree in music business from New York University’s Steinhardt School and an undergraduate degree in innovation and entrepreneurship from Copenhagen Business Academy. A major factor driving her passion for growing music communities is that she, herself, is a celebrated songwriter and performer.
Carson Vickrey
Director of Marketing & Events
Carson Vickrey is a leader in live entertainment brand marketing, event production, and industry activations. She devises and conducts campaigns that yield valuable leads and generate millions of dollars in client revenue. Carson has been a featured speaker at A2IM Indie Week, Music Biz, and SXSW, as well as an expert source in music industry publication Pollstar. Across all her campaigns, Carson strives to incorporate activism, frequently prioritizing projects that benefit the LGBTQI+ community.
Bobby Nicholas III
Creative Project Manager
Bobby Nicholas III grows and connects local music communities by facilitating networking and speaking opportunities for clients, devising educational programs for music professionals, and creating event programming. Bobby develops campaign designs and builds industry presences that unify each client’s messaging and visual aesthetics. He has spoken on panels and curated hands-on workshops about building a brand and finding one’s unique value, and he is also a professional live music photographer.
