Somewhere Conference 2025 On-site Event Staff

Marauder is producing the conference portion of Somewhere Festival and Conference 2025, and is now looking for onsite event staff. The conference will take place June 13-14, 2025 in multiple locations in downtown Wichita, and bring together a community of local and national music workers and musicians. These on-site positions are ideal for those who are passionate about the entertainment industry and have experience with events work (or are looking to learn).

Examples of Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Overseeing the setup and breakdown of panel programming, workshops, and other programming for attendees and visiting speakers.

• Assisting and greeting attendees, guests, and speakers

• Providing an array of information to attendees, guests, and speakers

• Supporting partner activations

• Helping to create a seamless conference experience for attendees.

Requirements:

• Team members must be available to work two days on-site in June

• Team members must be over the age of 18

• Prior experience in events and event production (preferred but not required)

• Note that some of these on-site roles require occasional lifting of up to 30+ pounds as well as standing and walking for long periods of time

Fee: $22.00/hr
